Nope. I dislike quasi-Stalinist demands for apologies. I've defended and will defend my views on Iraq, and Syria, and Milosevic, and the Soviet Union, and more, as you defend yours. How about a real debate on U.S. foreign policy--I'll ask for no apologies!--on a campus this fall?https://twitter.com/BernieSanders/status/1132419628578344960 …

Inflexible? To what? Resisting handing out military contracts to your beltway sources?
-
When it comes to opposing war, inflexibility is a virtue.

In response to Bernie being correct about wars that we shouldn't have started (a war that Bill continues to claim was right and just), Bill said **never** Sanders. That's like the definition of inflexible. What a weird reaction to a candidate with consistent principles.

We do often debate politics in a vacuum. Please don't make me side with Bill Kristol, Cody. I've been using the opposite position of his for years to find a good True North! Like legit, the opposite of everything thing he says is true. It's uncanny. Used to be a Daily Show meme.

No Ms. Rubin. He stands by his positions, which I think were correct. I appreciate Mr. Kristal and your support in opposing Trumpism. Truly. But in this you’re both in error. It’s not “quasi-Stalinism” as Mr. Kristol asserts.
