A 75-25% margin would make 10K votes sufficient while a 70-30% would make it very close at 12K votes. Question is where these votes are from, the absolute numbers and whether skew continues.

Nope! They’ve counted pretty much all the ballots, just running final numbers.

70-30 split for Brindisi @ 12k remaining votes would net him 4,800, putting him in the lead. Work: (12k*.7= 8,400) - (12K*.3 = 3,600) = 4,800

Last night oneida had 5500 absentee to count. One report had the lead at 5100 or so with 8500 ballots left. At that point 45k absentee had been counted already.

Josh, this obviously isn't your fault AT ALL, & appreciate your very diligent reporting on this, but isn't it INSANE that no one seems the know even the specific NUMBER of votes left to count, let alone the results, TWO FULL WEEKS AFTER E-day? Why is the # of votes not known?
