    Dunning-Kruger effect

    Has Trudeau ever admitted to having been wrong about anything? Genuinely curious. Not the "sorry but it was society's fault" thing he does, but a sincere admission of substantive error. Not just copping to a mistake, but admitting he'd been wrong in something he thought or did.

    Hockey fans insist on spending their time doing something that they acknowledge they don’t enjoy. Damaged, incorrigible people.

    Completely over watching the Leafs play the same six teams over and over again. Would be A-OK with them starting the playoffs this weekend because this is painful.

    Does Canada’s chattering class think that vaccines and low case counts are unrelated? Did anyone notice that the only time the US has had lower cases than us was after they aggressively out-vaccinated us? Enough with the lockdown worship!

    Re: the Boris Johnson quote I referenced on pnp tonight, here is a very interesting thread. (We need vaccines. Don’t get me wrong. But we need them alongside low case counts, and uh, we’re not exactly doing that here)

    There was a real life sighting of a person from Twitter.

    We're hunkered down at our place in Wasaga. Today a lady from down the road saw my girls scootering out front of the house and told them "I know you're not from here. Tell you're parents they're fucking assholes and you guys need to leave." They're 13 and 11.

    NEW - Asked about concern regarding the Johnson and Johnson vaccine in the United States, Premier Ford says Ontario will have to wait to get advice from health Canada “I’m concerned when I hear that coming down from the U.S”. There is currently no J&J vaccine in Canada.
