To me the confederate flag means suffering& inequality. It’s a symbol of when certain people in this country were not considered citizens or even human. If you display it I’m just gonna assume that’s what your about also. I don’t want to know you.

I think anyone who tries to defend the confederate flag has a problem. It represents only one thing, the south wanted to keep their way of life, which included slavery. The history of the south is THEY LOST THE WAR.. you don’t get to memorialize your lost.

yeah i don't get her comments either. I will say this about the conf. flag though...a lot of southerners view it differently than what POC and the national media do. We're one country but there's still many in the south who feel they're much different or separate still.
