I have no regard for Roger Stone’s actions, and if he’s guilty of the crimes alleged, he should pay the full penalty, but I do not like the use of such overwhelming force to secure the arrest of a nonviolent criminal. They weren’t taking down El Chapo.

I apologize for not following you, but have you seen how minorities are treated by police? Genuine question, because if you think what happened to this guy is excessive, please look closer at policing in general in poverty stricken communities.

Well written article. I agree with the main point of it. Sadly it is far too commonplace and scary. And I agree that most officers do the job the right way. That bothers me that so many good officers don’t speak out more about the bad ones. Maybe that would tip the scales
