Wrong. Stick to soccer. That’s a time violation. Different than code violations. Those continue to just being loss of first serve and there is a clock, so no real space for judgment.

He should've simply diffused the situation instead of giving a violation call. Umpires are supposed to use discretion. Serena was upset and expressing her displeasure she could've been warned to stop or else. But nothing she said warranted a verbal abuse call
