In 1996 Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf did the exact same thing as Colin Kaepernick, he refused to stand for the national anthem. Do you know what the NBA did? Wrong. He stood and prayed in the tunnel because he didn’t believe he could sincerely worship a flag that treated his people so horribly. That treatment remains. He had his house burned down and fled to Europe. I guess that’s a success in your book. Yay bigotry. Congrats
