Is there a reason it’s not near the Sun’s equator? Is it passing horizontally along this photo or is it moving “diagonally”?
November transits always pass from the lower left to upper right of the Sun's disk.

There just happens to be no sunspots today. It’s been a quiet minimum period. Made for great Mercury viewing.
