So Joe Biden’s big plan is rapid testing starting in January? Not even the finale of Game of Thrones was more overhyped than this.

Biden called for the Defense Production Act to be used. Trump was already using it. Biden called for blocking entry on travelers from China to the U.S. two months after Trump did. Biden’s called for federal/state coordination. Governors have praised Trump’s work w/them.

Biden called for free covid testing. Trump had already signed Families First Coronavirus Response Act with free testing. Testing in nursing homes: https://www.hhs.gov/about/news/2020/07/14/trump-administration-announces-initiative-more-faster-covid-19-testing-nursing-homes.html … Sadly, knowing people had COVID didn’t stop
@andrewcuomo from forcing retirement homes to take them back.Show this thread -
A solid fact check from BBC on many of Biden’s ridiculous COVID claims. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-53610814 … And of course, it was always going to be a challenge to *create* more tests, given supply chains, which is precisely why we need to ramp up U.S. capabilities. No plan from Biden.

Well, funny, my school district is currently not open (in a low incident area) because testing has a two week wait, with results coming 7-10 days later. The school district needs to contract for its own testing to open. So come on over, it's 5th grade math time at my house.
