The Crystal Ball kicks off our initial 2022 Senate ratings today! -- OH would have been safe w/ Portman, now Likely R -- Clearest Dem targets are PA, WI, NC -- Rs will likely contest the 4 Leans Dem states (AZ, GA, NV, NH) -- No states changing hands yet https://centerforpolitics.org/crystalball/articles/2022-senate-races-initial-ratings/ …pic.twitter.com/bjdF8XYGbf

I’m going to have to read the article. To say AZ and GA are “Lean D,” you’d have to assume Republicans nominate candidates like Kelli Ward. I wouldn’t be so sure of that a year plus out, but maybe the article will teach me something

Id actually be concerned about Vermont if Leahy retires or if the governor runs

It's hard to see Vermont's governor wanting to be part of the current Senate GOP caucus. But maybe.

GOP are favorites in GA and NH if Sununu runs. They are probably 50/50 in NV. Dems do not show up in midterms when a Dem is president.

New hamshire should be lean red and Pennsylvania should be likely blue

All four current members of congress from NH are Dems. Three just elected. Why do you think it would lean red?

So it looks like Democrats could flip Pennsylvania and at least make the races in Wisconsin and North Carolina interesting for the GOP. I would love to see Florida be competitive. I think there's a good chance. So many Independents here would not vote for Rubio if you paid them.
