An ugly week gets so much uglier for @NYCTSubway & @TWULocal100.
The fire that erupted at the 110th Street/Central Park North stop killed Garrett Goble, 36 of Brooklyn.

“A young man serving the public during a national crisis was killed at just 36 years of age,” said @TWULocal100 President Tony Utano. “ for this to happen, after we lost two of our union brothers to the #coronavirus, is hard to comprehend.”

This is absolutely awful. More enforcement in the subways is absolutely needed.

This man died a senseless death and it hurts my heart that he died the way that he did. May God be over the Train Operator’s family and his soul during this awful time. 
It's sad an he was working to feed his family. Hope they catch the bastard that did this to him
