When you see what @MarvelStudios have done with the Avengers, and accompanying films, and then see what @Disney have done to Star Wars...well, the difference in quality is staggering IMO.

Like look at the difference between Luke and Thanos. Fans build an expectation around Luke, and when TLJ didn't deliver, riot. They completely changed Thanos from the comics, and we are like "that is an interesting way to take him"
I think you make a good point, however, for me, it was not that Luke was changed from the original incarnation, it was what they turned him into that I did not like, and the fact the movie itself was cheesy. I have become immersed into the MCU and I was never really a comic guy.

Rather than being too down on Disney, I really want to focus on what an amazing and incredible job Marvel Studios have done with the MCU.
