and DC are making the same mistakes.
When you see what @MarvelStudios have done with the Avengers, and accompanying films, and then see what @Disney have done to Star Wars...well, the difference in quality is staggering IMO.

I think one of the main differences is the source materials and the fans of both franchises. Comic fans are used to crazy new changes, Star Wars fans have holy scripture that can't be deviated from.

Like look at the difference between Luke and Thanos. Fans build an expectation around Luke, and when TLJ didn't deliver, riot. They completely changed Thanos from the comics, and we are like "that is an interesting way to take him"
