One minute the Government is castigating the BBC for not giving free TV licences to pensioners. The next minute it is saying anyone who wants the BBC should have to pay per view for it. Go figure.

Every single one a lie. How did it cost us natural resources? How did it prevent us controlling borders/deporting criminals - it did not: How did it cost us billions - it did not; net economic benefit was 5-10 times our contribution. I feel sorry for you.

Apparently the benefits were highlighted in print.... many years back The contrast to now is the TRUTH DID come to fruition and we know how correct, right they all were These truths never alter or fade. Politicians do and are transient. DM gets it spot on....who'd of thought

This man sees everything in terms of $kaching$. Incredible to have no solidarity, even knowing the suffering of the people of Eastern and Central Europe during and then after the War under communism. Poland becoming a net contributor will be a testament to European solidarity.

I can feel 's physical reaction here & boy is it justified. How many times have I felt my jaw drop like this in response to similar patronising, controlling, hypocritical, disrespectful lecturing. I hope listens to this and reflects.

Easy to employ 3rd country nationals in France? I can promise you it isn't easy. Possible on a least 2x minimum wage with lots of extra paperwork and payment of fees. I just did it for an employee of my French company: you don't go through it unless you really need do.

And those of us who earn a living like cabin crew by being able to move freely through Europe as and when we like to earn our living are now awaiting our fate, its just plain wrong.

Any beacon for free trade would stay in the EU; the biggest and most advanced free trade arrangement in the whole wide world, because of its size and power, able to negotiate the best trade deals on the globe, whilst keeping its citizens and environment safe.

But of course, work visas, we are told, are ever so easy to get... Those Brexiteers failed to take into account the fact that however easy, they are still a faff - why would any company bother with the effort when they can get staff who don't need them?

For those who didn't understand what being an EU citizen meant, here is a practical example. There is nothing to prevent the Irish discriminating against Brits once we are not EU citizens.

History will not be kind to Donald Trump. Because truth matters. Right matters. And decency matters. It may be midnight in Washington, but the sun will rise again. I put my faith in the optimism of our Founders. You should too.

The BBC wrongly identified a black female Labour MP, then the Evening Standard wrote a story about the BBC mistake and used a photo of a *different* wrong black female Labour MP, now the Standard is blaming major photo agency Getty Images who they say *also* made that mistake.
