    David Dinkins remains the only non-white mayor in NYC history, who sought to unify a diverse, divided city. He was replaced in 1994 by our most brutal, racist mayor, Trump pal Rudy Giuliani.

    When Nelson Mandela was released from prison, he was a controversial figure, in part because of his alliance with Palestinians. Mayor welcomed him to NYC, and JFREJ was founded when Jewish activists realized no Jewish organization would do the same.
