But the shocking language illustrates his attitude toward certain immigrants. It is not immaterial

They all told us who they were. All of them! Half the country, not only accepts it, they actually act the same, and voted for it. Future Generations are going to have a lot of work to do

The language should be used in court to strike down frivolous policy/bans. And if we can’t distinguish between actual national security reasons & trumped up racist justification, we need a new president. Period.

We'd be crazy if we didn't talk about it we need a new DECENT PresidentThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Nonsense. Clearly there are nations, if we can call them that, which have devolved into pits of pain and misery. Nothing wrong acknowledging that fact.
-
Even if you accept that denigrating other countries for their poverty is acceptable for a President(good god, no it isn't.), the implication that said poverty should affect our immigration policy is antithetical to all American ideals.
-
It’s not poverty he’s referring to, it is their lack if progress even when rich in resources and people. It’s a comment on their abysmal record and oppressive corruption. He wants merit based immigration. So do I.
-
1/2 What you are doing here is conflating the progress of a country with the worth and value of its people. That is the racist portion you don't seem to understand. Even assuming he wants merit based immigration, that would mean he is saying that the people of Haiti and Africa
-
2/2 Have no merit simply based on their country of birth. That is racism, pure and simple.
-
You feelings driven, soft headed, participation trophy boobs are exhausting. You see racism everywhere. That’s just pathetic nonsense. A merit driven system is fair to all, biased towards none. 1/2
-
Special considerations for Haiti, or Africa, is biased nonsense. Let each person stand by their merits. There’s nothing racist about that. Stop whining and seeing things through your “feelings” lenses and start looking at reality. Have a good night. 2/2

Why doesn't someone ask Mike Pence if he agrees with the boss' "shithole" countries comment? I'd be interested in THAT response

Can’t agree: the policies are beyond racist and the comments, beyond the pale and a reason to impeach him, now
Will Cohen and Mattis hang around after this? Kinda thing they will-racists all -
What’s funny?
-
Reason to impeach
-
Yes, in the 21st Century comments like the ones Trump made memorialize how unfit he is. Do you denounce his comments and him?
-
I don’t denounce him. I don’t approve of he wording he uses. There are ways to say things that aren’t as divisive or painful
-
Let me help you out: There is no nice way to express these comments. The ideas are vile. Holding these ideas makes the person racist and making these statements publicly makes the person a stupid racist.
