Be nice if they did something more meaningful. Like organize prior to yesterday's hearing. Have a clear, coherent strategy. Any leadership at all.

They are not the majority party and the republicans control the process
-
Not being in the majority doesn't mean you can't plan or strategize prior to a critical hearing. We didn't. That's embarrassing.
-
Again the strategy was to stop this vote. GOP don't care about survivors, or didn't matter what Democrats do, GOP was ramming this through
-
And there was no "strategy" as to how to accomplish that goal. I very well understand the import of the GOP majority and that they had every intention of pushing this through no matter what. That doesn't excuse how weak and unorganized Democrats have been.
-
They would need a republican to vote no, that wasn't going to happen. Republicans as the majority are the only ones to call for an FBI investigation, that definitely want going to happen. It's up to the Senate to ensure he doesn't prevail
-
I understand all of this. I said as much. It doesn't excuse Democrats from poor work yesterday. Losing was preordained. Being feckless in opposition was not.
