    We wouldn't need to send the message. Life itself sends the message, in the traces of what survives and what doesn't. Biologists and their interpretation of fossile & evolutionary evidence would suffice, if they know what they're doing.

    If our civilisation was suddenly decimated by a repeatable phenomenon such as in Asimov's Nightfall, or a comet. How could we communicate a warning 1000s of years into the future? Maybe leave a code written in blocks too big to move. Maybe not?

    The IPA fanclub is losing more and more members. There's nothing refined about maxing the bitter taste of beer, and people are slowly realizing it.

    That article changed my life. NH is the most libertarian state, but also first in alcohol-consumption, especially beer. There’s a microbrewery on every corner. I was a big IPA guy, but no more. I feel so much better! Thank you.

    👏👏👏Some New Yorkers are about to learn about home birth. Glad to see that the nurses in these units are not completely kneeling to the system. A branch of medicine where the respect for nature still remains.

    ..thrown at COVID. But the fact is that we are bubbles of delicious fat, protein and sugars walking around on an overcrowded Earth with increasingly nothing to protect ourselves from the life forms that see us as nice niches to set up camp.

    5. Variola (smallpox) did not have a wide array of animal reservoirs (only known to infect animals in laboratory settings). COVID has already been found in dogs, deers and other animals. There will be constant future opportunities for COVID to evolve novel strategies to escape...
