    It would be nice to blame this all on Nike, but there are, at least in theory, grown men in the team's design departments that give these all the "OK". Maybe don't have focus groups comprised solely of the demo you want to sell the jersey to?

    This is pretty lazy analysis, tbh. Cubs are striking out at a high rate (25.3 K%), but it’s the seventh highest in MLB. Jays, Rangers, Cards, Orioles, Reds, Rays all higher. Playing nine extra innings in 5 games has a lot to do with the high strikeout count.

    The Cubs bats are off to a historically slow start in 2018.
