When you subsidize something you get more of it.
Here’s a reminder that we literally do not have to have immigration detention at all. The industry exists thanks to government subsidies which then line the pockets of the private prison owners. There’s no justice in any of it.

YES. I agree. We should NOT have immigration detention centers at all and it's SO inhumane what's going on right NOW. WE need to TALK, but please stay hopeful and courageous.
