You know who else they're funding? Trump's favorite Democrat, Henry Cuellar.

Payday lenders often prey on the most vulnerable members of our communities. I know many folks in #TX28 rely on them & I live across the st from 1.
High poverty rates in TX make our "poorest citizens ripe targets for payday lending abuses" (@dallasnews). It's heartbreaking. 2/6
Meanwhile, @RepCuellar is the second-largest recipient of donations from predatory payday lenders among ALL House members this cycle. (He's taken over $16,000.)
In the 2016 cycle he took $30,400 from payday lenders and last cycle, he took EVEN MORE – $43,000 to be exact. 3/6
.@RepCuellar also happened to be one of just THREE Democrats who voted to eliminate the authority of the @CFPB to prevent predatory lenders from charging interest rates up to a soaring 391% last Congress.
Coincidence? I don't think so. 4/6
The money @RepCuellar takes from predatory lenders is yet another example of him putting corporate interests before our community and siding with President Trump and the Republicans, who have gutted the CFPB and rolled back critical oversight reforms over the past few years. 5/6
Enough is enough. We have a responsibility to protect our communities against bad actors.
In Congress, I'll fight to restore the reforms Trump has stripped so people can borrow money without heaping on debt.
