Students walk out with so much debt that it's basically a mortgage. I can tell you that my debt is at six figures. My student loan has grown that large as well. I was told back in the 90s that the degree will pay for itself. If I had known the debt would only grow for 20 years, I might have skipped this fine college education. Many of the jobs I have had, have not even required a degree.
