ME-02 wasn’t stolen. Golden won based solely on a technicality and that makes me doubt he’s going to be able to win re-election in 2020, but it wasn’t stolen.

#ME02 was stolen. Democrats changed the counting rules to give some voters a 2nd vote or even a 3rd vote. If #ME02 had the same voting rules as they've had since 1820 Poliquin would have been re-elected. They fixed the system to steal a seat from a candidate who won more votes.

The voters of #ME02 voted against RCV twice. It was imposed on them by a majority of voters from #ME01 But thats besides the point 52% of voters in 1 election shouldnt be able to throw out 1 man 1 vote & implement a new voting system that gives some people more votes than others

That’s not how elections work. They voted statewide. You could use the same logic to argue that Blue states can just ignore federal law because they don’t like The Don, which is stupid

One man one vote is federal law. RCV brazenly violates that principle.

Everyone gets the same voting power. But, with first-past-the-post, candidates win despite a majority voting against them. Ranked choice means a candidate must get a majority to win. No more puppet 3rd party spoiler candidates backed by a party who can't get to 50 otherwise.

Actually a majority voted against Jared Golden. Even after 3rd party votes were "re-allocated" Golden only got 139,231 votes out of 284,455 cast which is 48.94% of all votes which is well below a majority.

The state sets election rules, not the district. Clown.
