Wait. The Toronto terrorist wasn’t inspired by ISIS. He was a sexually frustrated white guy who may have been so mad about being turned down by women that he went on a rampage. Toxic masculinity literally turned into terrorism.http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/toronto-van-attack-driver-profile-alek-minassian-1.4632435 …

If there is other evidence of his involvement in the Incel movement, I think it wise to wait for official confirmation.
-
And if the press is saying that it has been confirmed? What then? Or are you saying I should assume Tom is lying?
-
I want to hear it from the Canadian press, thanks. Watching news in the Greater Toronto Area right now, and they have yet to say anything like this.
-
I just remember watching the news on September 11 to hear the press report that the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine was responsible for the attacks. The reporters who reported that didn’t lie, they just had been given the wrong information.
-
Certainly a fair point.

I’m really sorry if I sound totally dumb, but can someone pls explain to me: 1. What’s a minassasin? 2. Who are Chad and Stacey? Honestly these are terms that I haven’t heard before & wasn’t sure if it was Canadian slang or actual ppl or what that damn statement means. Ugh. Help.
-
1. That was the (misspelled) name of the driver. 2. Members of The Incel Movement (Incel stands for Involuntary Celibacy) call beautiful, desirable women jerks that will never sleep with an Incel man, and Chads are the males with them who rub it in Incel faces. 3. Learn to google
-
Typical. A man says 'learn to google', but can't resist 'explaining' anyway'.

Wasn’t a gendered comment. Would have thrown that dig in at anyone. But it was a dickish way to do things I suppose. Sorry to offend. I get a little weird spending all this time online. I have no real excuse. Time for me to take a break. Thanks for challenging me.

My comment was gendered. Take care
