told a guy, after reading his 114 page script, that if he wanted to write lesbian characters he would need some queer women working with him/on his film. He wrote an entire post ranting about how I abused him on r/screenwriting. I screencapped the chat to show how nice I was.
I once had someone outright tell me as a woman I couldn’t write realistic men and I was too young to write believable older women.
Apparently none of this applied to him since he was a male writer writing about the whole life of a FEMALE protagonist
