I pet Copper. He is a 12 year old German Shorthaired, Wirehaired Pointer mix. When Copper was younger, he would jump the 6 ft fence in his backyard. Now he has Addison’s Disease and needs special food, meds, and shots. It is expensive, but his caregiver says Copper is worth it.pic.twitter.com/4hMZ58YBQA

I pet Nalla. She is a 9 year old Chocolate Lab. Nalla likes being with people. On her 6th birthday, she was hit by a car. She was so scared, she ran away. Nalla’s caregiver put out peanut butter and Nalla came home hours later. Luckily, she was not hurt.pic.twitter.com/UO2rCs3NFE

I pet Koda. She is a 1 year old Husky, German Shepherd mix. She is on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/justabasicwhitedog/ … She loves to play in water. Koda greets the mail carrier each day. I pet Annie. She is a 2 year old Russian Blue Great Dane. Annie gets lonely. The first time she was left home alone, she broke out a window to get out. Now she is never home alone. She can also open the fridge. Her caregiver has to block the door or Annie will eat all the food.pic.twitter.com/ROOzeiHmpg

I pet Maizy. She is a 2 year old dog who visits nursing homes to comfort people. She rides in a stroller so people in beds and wheelchairs can pet her easily. I pet Ajax. He is a 2 year old Terrier mix. He tears apart all of his rubber squeaky toys, but he loves to catch a ball or frisbee. Ajax is a cuddly dog. Each night he sleeps next to his caregiver with his head on her knee.pic.twitter.com/siNW0VCLt6

I pet Gracie. She is a 12 week old black lab. Gracie came from a litter born on a farm. She likes to play with stuffed toys. Gracie is very sweet, but is still learning how to behave. Even though she is just a pup, she is as big as the adult dog in her home.pic.twitter.com/IFzuE1drtA

I pet Teddy. He is an almost 2 year old Australian Labradoodle. He came from a breeder in Ft. Dodge, Iowa. Teddy is an easygoing and goofy dog. He likes to chew on bones. He will also play hide and seek. He’s not very good at hiding, but he will always find you.pic.twitter.com/jL5YB5TKOV

I did not pet Otto. He is a sweet dog, who likes to play but does not like new people. Otto is a 2 year old Cockapoo. He likes to play with his frisbee most of all. The first time Otto saw snow, he barked at it. He then jumped in, got stuck, and barked even more.pic.twitter.com/PRXEUw8Bl1

I pet Dixie. She is a very clever 5 year old beagle She will move chairs to climb up on the table, take food, then hide it all over the house. She once stole a whole plate of cookies! Dixie’s family found them under pillows, in couch cushions, under the bed and in the yard.pic.twitter.com/iKLuPPp9Em

I pet Lopez. He is a 7 year old German Shepherd. He was just adopted. His caregiver met him when he was brought to her Vet Tech school to get care. Lopez loves his new home and his squeaky whiskey bottle. But he hates squirrels. He thinks they are a national security threat.pic.twitter.com/unecNaC3Dx

I pet Sy. He is a 1 year old Lab, Pitbull mix. Sy used to be a farm dog, but he killed the chickens. Now he has a new home and is a city dog. Sy loves to drink iced tea and to play with his deer antler. His caregiver says every day is a good day with Sy.pic.twitter.com/DPgL5q0VDG

I pet Jaxx. He is an 8 year old Manchester Terrier who is very smart. Jaxx trains his caregivers as well as they train him. Jaxx likes to chase rabbits. Now, they don’t come into the yard anymore. His caregiver says Jaxx is very sweet, as long as you are not a rabbit.pic.twitter.com/WglpNcolWN

I pet Suki and Ellie. They are corgi sisters. Suki is 3 and Ellie is 4. When the dogs first met, Ellie was so excited, she chased Suki. Suki didn’t like it, and nipped Ellie’s nose. I pet Luise and Ramos. I met them with their dog walker. Luise is a 5 year old Golden Retriever and Ramos is German Shepherd mix who is almost 2. Luise is a sweet, easy going dog. Ramos has boundless energy, even after long walks. He howls when he hears a siren.pic.twitter.com/aU7jfDdhZ5

I pet Peanut. She is a 2 1/2 year old Shih Tzu, Maltese mix. Peanut is loving and is never in a bad mood. Peanut’s caregiver says she is the best dog she has ever had. Her caregiver also says, “Peanut won’t bite you, but she may lick you to death.”pic.twitter.com/Bejh8BB2FN

I pet Stella. She is a 2 year old dog who is from Alabama, but was adopted from @WiscHumane. Stella is very friendly and loves belly rubs. She also loves her cat brother, Stanley. I pet Otis. He is a 3 year old Boxer, Schnauzer mix. Outside, he is an energetic dog who likes to play with balls, ropes, and sticks. Inside, he is a big couch potato. I pet Cookie. She is a 9 year old Shih Tzu, Bichon Frise mix. Cookie broke her back and had surgery. The vet said she might not walk again or even live- but she did! Cookie is smart.
