Ivanka I do appreciate the fact that you have decided to own what you are. No more pretending to be a decent person. I’m a Mom of two children and I want you to understand that we won’t forget the atrocities you’ve enabled your father to commit. Justice will eventually prevail.

Perfectly said!

Thank you. I’m mostly reduced to expletives and cannot string together much more than vitriol at the offending party. There is a lot of pain in this world. It takes a special kind of evil to have the power to help and instead encourage and celebrate the abuse.
-
I hear you! You’re doing a lot better than I am these days. I hold onto hope that these people will get the justice they deserve. Including Ivanka.
-
They will. Not nearly fast enough, but they will be held accountable. Taking action helps. Donating money or time. Sharing a kind word of support goes a long way. We must continue to bear witness to this. Do what we can to help. I’m thankful today for
@Amy_Siskind -
And I am thankful today for you - thank you for articulating what I cannot. My rage and frustration renders me incapable of expressing myself well... these are children we are talking about. Children!!!!!!
-
I am also thankful for the both of you.
-
I am grateful that I saw your comments and to know there are folks like you in this upside down world. You give me hope...

An actual mother would have compassion for the children harmed by your father’s policies. Your contrived photo ops are absurd.
-
Personally I found this to be offensive when
#WhereAreTheCHILDREN is on everyone’s mind! -
Why would a MOTHER cross the line & DANGER her CHILDREN? DO IT LEGALLY
-
And what about those that do it legally? They stop at point of entry, do not enter the country, and ask for refuge. They have not illegally entered the country at all... yet they still have their children ripped from them and taken off to who-knows-where.
-
Send them away as a family. It isn't rocket science.
-
Mel - I agree, if America doesn't want them...don't forcibly separate them, keep them together as a family and either deport them back to home country, turn them away from the border, or send them to another country to process their claims for asylum.
-
Yet that isn't what is happening. US Gov is now forcibly separating families to 'punish' them for daring to seek asylum in America, and/or as a means to try and 'deter' others from seeking asylum there. As an Australian, I can tell you this 'deter by abuse' policy doesn't work.
-
The main purpose of this policy is to inflict as much horror, torment, & suffering as possible on these people. This is deliberate, premeditated evil. This is not who we are.pic.twitter.com/RAkJ2qFdcT

Now imagine, the Government ripping him from your arms and taking him away, maybe never to be held by you again.
-
Only of your an ileagal crossing our boarder
-
1) The children seized were not from families crossing illegally. They were from families seeking asylum. It is a legal process. 2) Given your grammar and spelling, you had better hope the GOP never succeeds in mandating English as the national language.
-
Even if they are undocumented THIS IS DEPLORABLE.
-
Yes, but there is a marked difference in terms of policies and resources. The Trump Administration changed their internal policies to prevent asylum seekers. It is not about safety or cost or anything else.
-
Look at Europe and their asylum policies and trouble caused by those seekers.
-
Which problems are you referring to, exactly?
-
Nothing. David has been conditioned to believe that immigrants, refugees and anyone who's not white is a threat. It's a vile sickness among the right.
