I seem to be the only person watching a police officer repeatedly hit someone? There’s two of them on top of one person? They’re incapable of restraining someone between the two of them when that person is already on the floor?

PS. Not condoning others behaviour, just think police abuse they’re power, that wasn’t self defence, the geezer on the floor was defenceless

That is part of their training . It’s called compliance strikes. Part of every officers safety training, areas of the body where you are allowed to strike to gain control. I would love to see anyone control a non compliant person without using strikes. Not possible

They are already sat on him and have just called for back up? It’s not like he just nearly got away or whatever he barely moves throughout the whole video? I AM NOT BACKING WHOEVER THIS PERSON IS I DUNNO WHAT HE DID, just seems from this clip that those ‘strikes’ were unnecessary

If you watch around 20 seconds, the guy is barely moving before the officer starts to hit him in the head, it seems like it was done out of anger rather than defending himself
