    Your semi-regular reminder that the past tense of "lead" (as in lead a team) is "led." Especially if it is on your resume and so is "detail oriented." (Yes, it's a stupid rule.)

    Attention communicators and writers: This is why you really should discover the original context for a quote by a famous person before using it in a speech or article. Don't just google. didn't get to be a top speechwriter-pundit-whatever because of his pretty face.

    The line VP Pence quoted from Lincoln - "Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed, is more important than any other one thing" - was the last line in a rejection letter to a job applicant.
