@YouTube okay, i just got message saying i will now longer be able to monetize my videos. i passed 10,000 vid views and so did my son years ago.I dont think its right to do that to us when we try to work hard we been here for awhile.it should only be for the new.I want answers.

We carefully considered the growth of smaller channels in the decision making process. Monetization doesn't impact how videos appear in search or how they're promoted/recommended. Also creator features and tools are still available.
