2nd. In the ENTIRE COUNTRY. Only beaten by South Wilts, the OTHER gramma school in Salisbury (one was a boys school, the other all girls)

That said, I did well enough to go to college and later university, I didn't get a single grade below C, and I have no regrets.

In short, I've always had a relatively positive opinion on grammar schools, and if I didn't have to go on a bus I would have went.
