This is infuriating. That’s the hope? That Morelos won’t leave? You “support” him? How? If soccer is serious about ending racist abuse the answer is not ask to Black players to remain “strong.” The problem is with racist fans & media. Ask them to leave. Pull their media passes.

Today marks the 150th anniversary of the 15th amendment. Ratified in 1870, the 15th amendment was designed to grant Black men . Despite its passage, restrictive voter laws were rampant and prevented Black Americans from voting.

Everyone needs to see this. Inequality is not caused by some people working harder or smarter than others. It exists bec/ some have better opportunities than others. We don’t have equal opportunity in this nation. Never have. But we can change that.

isn’t just a celebration of the individual achievements of Black Americans—it’s also a recognition that our nation’s history has been shaped by the Black experience. It’s a time to honor legacy, and a time to recommit ourselves to a fairer, stronger America.

It is a sad day for America to see Senator McConnell humiliate the Chief Justice of the United States into presiding over a vote which rejected our nation’s judicial norms, precedents and institutions which uphold the Constitution and the rule of law.

REALLY happy to see Mitú reporting on fair housing issues and including the voices of fair housing leaders like in their coverage. These issues matter for Latinx communities and representative reporting matters. via

We must stop the lie that all have had the same chances in life. 300 yrs of slavery, 100+ years of Jim Crow & state-sponsored apartheid, redlining, lynching, debt peonage, destruction of Black businesses, the War on Drugs, residential segregation, Urban Renewal. It’s time.
