After over a week of trying to get a meeting with @TeamYouTube we finally have one scheduled for an hour from now. If you have any constructive feedback to share with them regarding the abbreviated subscriber numbers (via the api), reply to this tweet.

Replying to @SocialBlade @TeamYouTube
I use SocialBlade to see how well my channel is doing, especially other channels. If the abbreviation occurs while YouTube Studio remains Beta, along with the sub count 2 days behind, it's impossible to see any sub count especially our own.

If I'm correct, this abbreviation is happening because of the livestreams where it's YouTuber vs YouTuber sub count. To prevent these streams from trending, I'd suggest not recommending them, and prevent them from showing up in search.

If YouTube prevents these livestreams from showing up, then the YouTuber vs YouTuber sub count streams won't be a problem. And the only way people can find them is to search up the YouTube channel livestreaming it.

Striking them down would be a bad idea. It's not against YouTube's rules (i dont think) so just preventing them from being recommended is the only best option.
