    Last year I called my sister and we made a long list of EVERYTHING we could remember about our mom. From her favorite movie to what she cooked to lies she told to songs she sang to moments of absolute grace and beastly heartache. A good thing to do for us, motherless for so long.

    So to land a studio movie as a director or get your indie movie financed, you basically have to generate marketing materials which isn't the same skillset as directing. But don't worry, if you actually get the movie made, the real marketing team won't listen to your ideas anyway!
