A lot of credit to Bangladesh for coming as far as the 50th over of the Asia Cup final without Tamim and Shakib. Just goes to show how far the ODI side has come. There'll be questions about their top-order but for now, let it all sink in.
A superb win, mainly due to the start provided by and Soumya Sarkar, but it was Mashrafe, Mehidy and Sakib who bowled them to a strong position.
