Tbh, NieR Automata anime does not look promising to me at all. The only reason I'll watch it eventually is to see if Yoko Taro used this as another opportunity to twist things around and introduce some alternate resolutions.

Plus with the ff9 anime on its way, do we really think they're going to pour so much into it? I will be happy to see anything new related to that game of course, but I am also a bit skeptical. I'd believe a ff6 remake speculation more. But that one got a pixel remaster, so idk 😂

Damn, people keep speculating and posting about a possible ff9 remake (?) announcement sometime around E3 and I'm like, don't give me hope. But also it's kinda complete in its own form, I don't think it needs a remake as desperately as ff7, for example.
