We tried to civilize ourselves with technology. But the banality of comfort and the sterility of enlightenment did not calm the primal chaos within, it only made it restless, till it commandeered our gadgets and digitally reprimitivized us with culture war tribalism and trolling.
Technology allowed me to encounter you, though, Gur. And I adore you. So overall, it’s been a net good.
