Yeah that wasnt totally clear on their part, but i think thats part of the legal "language" issue. It may be that any content you preciously uploaded from within the borders under article 13 will be blocked, but content outside the jurisdiction since tou are now in the us are ok.
Yeah I totally understand all of that. But what I asked was how absolutely 100% can I make sure that my channel is identified as being a US based channel in my settings.
Thats what im saying, if the legal paperwork isnt clear on how they detirmine that. youtube would be in hot water if they said you are ok and then later all channels like yours suddenly werent ok anymore.
But it seems that would be part of the unclear "language" in the paperwork for article 13. A lot of people are asking similar questions but cant get a clear answer. I think its because they will end up going case by case.
