Mammoth refers to Mammoth Mountain, a popular area for outdoor activities such as skiing and hiking located in the Sierra Nevada mountains. In November, Apple extended the Mammoth trademark and it won't expire until May of 2022 so long as Apple continues to file extensions.

Monterey refers to the historic city and popular beach vacation spot, home to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row. In December, Apple applied for an extension of the Monterey trademark, which was approved.

Skyline refers to the scenic Skyline Boulevard, which follows the ridge of the Santa Cruz mountains that run south from San Francisco. Apple extended the Skyline trademark back in September.
