Why have no prototypes been found so far? I know Apple keeps an extremely tight leash on prototypes these days but for a project to be in development for close to a year or so you’d think they’d lose a few!
My only guess would be because it’s such a small product. While there haven’t been any leaked images of supposed prototypes that have been verified, there have been lots of other leaks surrounding their design and implementation, even some by Apple.

True, no one wants to potentially lose their job by leaking a photo or actually stealing a unit of a tracker that isn’t that important (in the grand scheme of things).
