Oh DEER! The deer fly might look pretty cool with its brightly colored sunglass eyes, but it's one of the most annoying pests to mammals. While male deer flies collect pollen, female deer flies feed on blood. Sweet dreams! Photo by

The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law is making significant investments in communities across the U.S.! New resources are helping Interior expand access to clean, reliable water in rural and Tribal communities. How it started How it’s going
Side-by-side photo of bathtubs: (left) filled with brown water, (right) filled with clean water Liselle Reed from Montana shared this story: "We had to buy our drinking water in town at $0.75 a gallon and that was such an annoying but necessary chore. House guests would always comment on the dirty water and cringe at having to shower in it. Having Dry Prairie water has been a huge life change! Our kids now have clean, clear baths and we are able to drink water from the tap that we didn’t have to bring from town...we are so thankful to finally have such great water!”
