Always wondered if classic rock stations where forever going to stay on 60s-80s stuff even as we aged into that demographic and we'd just get other stations for more recent stuff, or if they'd eventually creep forward. Seems like the latter, thank god.

I tried to gently explain to a gen X coworker how if these stations ever added more recent stuff that *necessarily* means fewer golden oldies and he was convinced that they'd somehow never play anything outside of those three decades forever.
