Do you feel that parents should have the option to choose circumcision for their son at birth? Please leave your reasons why or why not!

My opinion? There is no downside to circumcision, but if you choose not to have your baby circumcised please clean and care for it right! I know of parents who have not circumcised and the baby got a severe infection because they weren't cleaning it like they were supposed to

Although health and hygiene is important, there are still enormous downsides to MGM. Cutting of nerves is a major problem. The NHS will actively try to dissuade parents from carrying out unnecessary circumcisions due to this and other complications

I just think if you aren't going to circumcise your child that's fine, but please learn how to take care of your child. That's my only thing. The problem is a lot of people are ignorant on hygiene, at least in my area. It's terrible.

Reinforcing my earlier point, it's "learn what NOT to do to your intact child." Caring for a circumcision wound is more work. https://www.yourwholebaby.org/basic-intact-care/ … #i2
