The rise in homicides across our state should be alarming to all of us. And while violence has many causes, a big factor is the ready availability of guns. https://www.sfchronicle.com/crime/article/Homicides-suddenly-spiked-last-year-in-California-16304461.php … 1/

Thank you. Yes, Fentanyl is a demon (metaphorically, of course). West coast lucked out for years and had a lower fentanyl supply than the east coast and Appalachia. But its here now. But it does look like Chesa is working on it:https://www.sfchronicle.com/crime/article/S-F-DA-Boudin-seeks-funding-for-new-fentanyl-15983720.php …

It works better than your alternative, endless slogans and posturing ,which is killing what 700 a year in SF? How do you people look yourselves in the mirror with your nonsense. Disgusting

Who are "you people"? And how do you hold Chesa responsible for all the ills of our city which is just starting to come out of crisis mode due to the pandemic? And what are your solutions for our ills? Being angry at people on twitter is not a solution btw.

Here’s a solution enforce the laws and prosecute those that break them. It’s not “woke” it’s not trendy, it’s not enlightened but that’s the job. He’s decided that his job is something else and it’s clear he’s failing

And it hasn't worked. A small percentage of criminals are always going to be outlaws. But most want out of the life and our system locks them in. That's what needs fixing. I get the frustration. But I don't get the blind spot to a criminal justice system that doesn't work.

Dollar says I know far more criminals than you will ever know and it’s a fantasy that only a small percentage are incorrigible. Crime for most is a lifestyle. Call it what it is and stop excusing it.
