  3. We were on week two of a four week ‘Go Fishing’ programme with Youth Action Ballina. The four participants learned how to tie different knots, how to make lures. They also learned about the different set up of rods for salmon fishing using spinning method, bubble and fly.

  7. We were in Ballinrobe Community School with Transition Year students completing a ‘Go Fishing- TY Fly Tying Project’. The course was part of the TY curriculum Business Enterprise module. Some TY students decided they would like to learn how to tie flies to be able to sell them.

  19. Our Education and Outreach officers had a great start to the 'Go Fishing' programme with Involve Ballina Youth Project last Friday. Five young people took part in week one of the four week programme. This weeks topics covered the River Moy and the Salmon licence.
