    I am going to remain silent about Dutton’s chances of becoming PM because I regarded Tony Abbott as a person who could never become PM. Dutton is such an awful prospect it could easily happen.

    The idea was to end Soviet style central planning. And create instead a think tank to advise government on policy implementation. Sadly it seems to have ended up as neither fish nor fowl.

    At one point in time, the Planning Commission was headed by people with gravitas and of stature. Now it’s an extension of random chambers of commerce. 😂
