I completely disagree with you Laura. The numbers are down with death because we are listening to the guidelines. If people die we won’t have any jobs anyway. Heath is more important right now. We can get our economy back we cannot bring people back from the dead.

I don’t know anybody sick with Covid19. But I know a lot of people that lost the jobs. We stopped the economy & ruined the stock market because of something slightly worse than the flu. The response to the virus isn’t sustainable. Let’s go back to business!

Sophism. It’s not that they erred by so much, it’s the fact that with everyone staying at home the virus hasn’t spread. Americans came together, did as advised, and the result is that the numbers dropped precipitously.

As I just stated above, staying home was already factored into the models. The model estimates were based on assuming people stayed home. They were still way too high. 100,000 deaths was supposed to be the best possible with extreme mitigation.
