I agree about the "price tags" issue, well said! Trying to hide that, telling you, "Don't worry, we'll just throw it at your insurance provider and you'll find out LATER if you gotta pay more from your pocket..." is NOT how medical service should work!

Tort Reform! Huge savings would result from elimination of needless testing and procedures done merely to avoid litigation! The ole CYA

The system is intentionally complex to hide costs. Transparency or price controls are the only options to address costs. And, Price controls have never worked in any situation, ever.

Walter Reed has a wonderful Bone Spur facility. I have the same problem as
@realDonaldTrump but my insurance won’t cover it -
They also cover Biden’s asthma.

It's not quite that easy. We cannot realistically reduce the cost of healthcare in the US without a serious discussion of tort reform. Indiana has been successful in part by limiting malpractice claims. Patients need to take ownership of their own healthcare and risky behaviors.
-
We also need to provide better care for US citizens that are 65 and older. Politicians are more concerned about healthcare for non US citizens and less concerned with providing coverage for home health and nursing facilities for our aging population. Travesty!
