I think this wasn't a mistake- if you used a song it's probably copyrighted from multiple places so that's why there are so many claimants. Even if you credit the song, it's still their song so they make money off it. With sony, I'm surprised they didn't take all the revenue.

Songs are different. Direct assets. For songs you need to know if the owner is okay with it being used. Youtube library has a list of legit songs by big time artists and their monetization policies

I always use the Youtube Music policies site as you can normally find the song and see if you will be claimed for it or not.
