~offer up the Master’s life when some evil thing came to claim the Doctor, and he told that creature, no, no..it wasn’t me that killed, it was my him. The Master, Your father not only saved the Doctor’s good name in polite Time Lord society, but also had his very spirit tainted~
As much as he needs a drink, the Master just sits stone still for a while watching the campfire flames become burning embers once again. There’s a small pile of wood waiting for the fire within reach, but he makes no move to to do anything. His mind lingers in the past.

As the fire started to die, Val got up to put more wood on it. The fact the Master was being so still, so silent, it was freaking him out a bit but he wasn't going to leave. It was his fault he'd had the Master tell him the story in the first place.

The rising flames seem to ignite something in the Master. Blinking several times awake, he reaches for the Scotch, cracks the lid, and pressing the mouth of the bottle to his lips drinks deeply swallowing the cleansing burn in great gulps. “You grabbed my top shelf Scotch. ~

He begins to set the bottle aside, but thinking twice about it, takes another long drink before relinquishing the mental medication. “We can stay as long as we like. It’s my planet.” The Master hadn’t actually stated that fact before, but it makes sense after what he’d shared.
-
"You have a point." His gaze was locked with the fire, the flames reflecting in his hazel orbs. "Do you think we can stay for a bit? It's not often we get times like this and honestly? It's something I've always wanted.."
-
The Master is also gazing into the flickering light of the fire. He chuckles to himself, “Aria and you both deserve a long holiday. Should be okay, and maybe later I’ll finish telling you my story.” Oh, wow..he’s offering to spill his guts again. He must have a reason why.
